How we work with your team

Consulting engagements are deliberate and documented. You always know which artefact is due next and who on your side needs to attend.

Professional meeting with documents
  1. Intake call (30 minutes)

We listen to the business outcome—new retailer channel, mobile rollout, regulator reporting—and list the systems that must exchange data. No NDA required for this call; we treat your description as confidential once a statement of work is signed.

  2. Written scope and quote

You receive a one-page scope: deliverables, assumptions, calendar, and fixed fee or day-rate cap. Integration sprints and design engagements use different templates so you are not paying for unused ceremony.

  3. Access and interviews

We schedule 45-minute sessions with product, backend, and at least one future integrator when possible. For public-sector clients we follow your change window and VPN rules.

  4. Working sessions

Design work happens in shared documents you keep. We favour annotated OpenAPI and Mermaid diagrams over proprietary formats so your team retains everything if we are not extended.

  5. Review gates

Mid-engagement review covers resource names and breaking-change risk. Final review checks examples against real staging environments when you can provide read-only access.

  6. Handover

Recorded walkthrough, FAQ for partner support desks, and a short list of implementation pitfalls we have seen in similar ZA integrations (timezone cutoffs, VAT line items, ID number formats).
